Unemployed? Between the ages of 18 and 30? Looking for a job in the rapidly expanding green economy? The Green Skills Network can connect you with training in your area! Solar PV Installation, conservation retrofitting and weatherization are booming, and now is the time to get involved in these rapidly expanding industries. We can get you there and you may be eligible for a subsidy to help cover the cost!
The Green Skills Network is a department of First Work, and has connections with over 70 employment centres across Ontario. We can help you connect your clients in meaningful ways. When a centre becomes part of the network, they gain access to our industry expertise and professional training programs, designed to help young people get and keep a job in the emerging green economy.
The youth that complete our training are ready to go to work in entry-level positions. When green industry companies join the Green Skills Network as a trainer, employer, or both, they get access to our trained and motivated alumni.
The Green Skills Network is supported by diverse and knowledgable Board of Advisors. To view a list of board members, please click here.
